so, i love the relationship that my girlfriend and i have cultivated and made into what it is today. there is definitely something special there and i am just astounded by how well we get along and work together. we are always encouraging each other to pursue more with our lives and make it better. and we are always seeking new adventures. these shoes are definitely not finished scratching the pavement together.

So I have been trying to mess with studio light work lately. Just trying to get my feet wet and learn as much as I can. I was lucky enough to be able to do a shoot with my friend alana and really take the time and work with the lighting set up so I could gain as much knowledge as possible. As of right now my rig is a SB600 speedlight shot into an umbrella. Super simple, but it works.

I have been interested in and shooting a lot of simple things around me... just noticing the art and beauty in everyday objects. Paint, architecture, roads, plants, people. The list goes on and on.
